2026-27 NCGB GIRLS

The NC Golden Bears program will be entering its second season in 2026-27. In 2025-26 the NC Golden Bears successfully launched their ALL-GIRLS program with a 12/10U team and a 16/14U team.

The 12/10U Team played in the Carolina Girls Hockey League (CGHL) which is supported by CAHA. The league is in its infancy and was a great place for our girls to begin their journey. The 12/10U had great success in its first season and that's a testament to the growth of girls hockey locally at both the House and Travel levels. We hit the ground running and give all the credit to the local rinks and girls associations for doing the heavily lifting.

The 14/16U girls played in the Southern Girls Hockey League (SGHL) primarily and were competitive in that forum. They got better as the season went on, finishing out playing in the CGHL final weekend and making it to the finals of that EOS tournament. Overall the season was successful and we are very proud of our endeavor.
